Tech-world, at Rescue or Kill Mission?

Our lives have taken a massive turn over the past 10 years. Who would’ve known that in the coming future, technology will become an indispensable part of our life, where we would’ve gotten used to getting things done easily and swiftly, and where without a cell phone in our hands will make our lives dreadful.

Technological inventions now surround everyone. It can be as small as electric toothbrushes and as huge as space stations in the cosmos. Technology is the contrivance of integrating scientific knowledge into making new commodities.

Such commodities can put our lives at ease and make things simpler for everyone to get a hold of it. Through their expertise and proficiencies in the field of science, people devised plans. They made them into inventions to meet the basic population’s needs with a greater and better approach.

Role of communication in tech-world

If it weren’t for the tech-world, we would never have things on our doorsteps the way we do now. It has provided us with means to communicate better with the people who are far away from us. Technology and society have been revolving around each other like a circular pathway.

They’re interdependent. It starts with humans’ needs and ends with new technology being launched to meet the demand. It has made education much more unprecedented with all the orthodox ideas left behind.

It has made it much more innovative with multimedia and visual approaches and critical thinking methods. This equips teachers with better and effective ways of teaching and making it more fun for the students.

Along with that, technology has made businesses across the world easier and more accessible to people. With online banking and transactions, freelancing, the world has come closer. Many entrepreneurs are coming forward with their ideas and propositions.

Besides this, the technological era has changed the communicational forte in a snap of fingers. We can now socialize with each other over long distances with video calling as an effective means.

Technology has created a safe space for farmers and other laborers associated with agriculture by mechanization processes where robots and machines are being used instead of manual labor. This turns the long and extensive work into a prompt and rapid one.

If it weren’t for technology, our world would’ve been following all the conventional techniques that might have did more harm than good. It has made our lives easier than we could have ever imagined, allowing things to happen in the blink of an eye.

Thus, so many non-invasive surgeries and early diagnosis of diseases through bio machines have undoubtedly decreased the world’s mortality rate and have created awareness amongst people.

But, it also did bring certain stumbling blocks with itself. With technological evolution taking place, our industries have modernized faster than one could have ever seen it coming, and hence, more industries mean more pollution taking place.

Technological evolution in today world

Increasing pollution can gradually destroy water life and atmospheric gases, making it difficult to breathe. Besides this, it did assist students in their education but at the same time also did make them procrastinate so many important things as well, because of the excessive use of social media on their cellphones.

Because of this technology, people have made it okay to roast and troll anyone through social media, cyberbullying them and harassing them on a public platform, which inevitably destroys innocent lives. However, it doesn’t end here.

Students and getting help for their academic work can also be seen using wrong use, such as plagiarism. Copying their assignments from the already present articles on the web, cheating during online held exams, and scoring marks through unfair means, has indeed become a common practice.

People, through anonymous blogs, post things that could be so disturbing for mental health, yet they still do it anyways. Technology also reduces children’s creativity because of the wide range of results available for almost every search. This diminishes the ability of children to think for a broader aspect and outside the box.

The technological era, as mentioned above, can turn out as a boon as well as a bane when different aspects are considered. Even though it has made things comparatively easy and efficient but it at the same time has also reduced our ability to do hard work.

Technology Impacts

It has helped millions of students worldwide, but the malpractices such as cyberbullying and harassment have also affected them as much as the psychological issues. If it helped in agricultural processes, then at the same time, the replacement of manual workers has resulted in unemployment and poverty.

But, it’s not the tech-world invention here that is at fault because they came into being for the better of the human population’s future. Hence, it is us who are left with blameworthiness. We as humans have failed the aim behind this modernized world.

And have used it for our very own selfish desires. Hence, before it gets too late for us to turn back over the morally justified path and regret everything, we should wheel back to the track we all started from.
